PROGRAM NOTES: "The Road to Atrebor" was premiered at Kent State University by the Howard String Ensemble in May of 2005. The piece portrays traveling on a road during a dark and dreary night. Atrebor is the destination which is relative to each individual listener. There is a story that fuels the music, but also within the story there symbolism.
